It’s Friday, and my youngest has been up multiple times the last two nights, and it’s rainy. Which means my ability to be clever and witty, or even conversational is limited.
So instead, I just want to share with you two events that I’m apart of that are coming up soon.
The first is Booking Across the USA, hosted by Growing Book by Book, coming on MONDAY. From the website:
Booking Across the USA is a collaborative blogging project that will take place on February 25, 2013. Participating bloggers will each showcase a book and activity related to their state. All 50 states will be represented. We will also be having two great giveaways. Be sure to come back and check them out!
There will be giveaways on the Growing Book by Book site, and you’ll be able to access the full list of books and bloggers right here. So check back Monday and get ready to travel!
Share A Story, Shape a Future 2013 is a week long event taking place March 3-March 8th. This is the third (?) year I’ve participated in some form, and this year I’ll actually be hosting Monday’s events. This year’s theme is Literacy: The First Five Years, and I’ll be offering thoughts on starting literacy with the youngest group…infants. From there, you’ll be able to check the Share a Story site each day for links on establishing literacy with toddlers, pre-preschool, preschool, and kindergarten age children.
